Clymac were employed to supply a system comprising nearly seven hundred devices for this Head Quarters building based upon a proven track record for providing reliable fire alarm systems in many of the authority's educational properties. Although mainly a hardwired installation, radio equipment was used in part of the County Hall building where the installation of cable was not deemed practical. Clymac worked with the Council to provide a detection scheme specific to the defined areas of risk. The result was a tailored detection system certified to Category L5 under BS5839 Part 1.
